I have officially graduated with my Masters! Yeah! There are pics to come later, however for now enjoy all my other pics that I have been to busy to post due to the many hours spent working on my thesis!

Easter Weekend

Shaun and I went to the beach for Easter weekend. It was his bday present from last year. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in Grayton Beach. Here are a few pics.

We went to Seaside one afternoon to eat dinner.

We were able to get in the water, it was still a little to chilly to stay in for extended periods.

I stripped the paint in my kitchen, I was surprised by the outcome. I thought I was going to have to stain it, but it turned out like this. AWESOME

A parent offered to take Shaun and I for a plane ride. Here is Pilot Shaun in front of the plane. We rode all around Baton Rouge. Shaun flew the plane the entire time.

New Year's

For New Year's Shaun and I drove to Nashville to see Mandy and Jon. We had an SNL theme party that night and went honky tonkin the next day. Here are some pics of our time there.

We played some games and had champagne for midnight.

New Year's Day we went to downtown Nashville to do some Honky Tonkin' at some of the bars.

Snow!!???

I woke up this morning to this!! Yes, SNOW!!! I turned my christmas lights on to get a good pic, but then I waited for it to get a little lighter for a better pic.

Coalette ran straight for the door.

They did not cancel school early so we had already headed to work. When we got there a bunch of teachers were out front, letting everyone know that we had finally cancelled. We started having a snowball fight (that's me on the left).

Hurricane Evacuation

During the Hurricane we were in Ohio, a perfectly planned trip! We of course couldn't fly back on Monday like planned, so instead of flying here, we flew to Memphis. There my parents met us and we stayed at my Aunt and Uncle's House. One day we drove around downtown to see some of the sights. Here is the pyramid where the Grizzlies used to play.












Shaun was excited to be in the city where the king got his start! Just kidding!






















We also went to Beale St. Mom dropped us off on one end of the street and we walked down to the other end where she picked us up. There was actually a lot of people out there. We determined some were leftover from Labor Day, and others were evacuees.
