Jupiter Parade

This weekend we went to the Jupiter parade in downtown Baton Rouge. Here we are with the only pair of beads we caught, our Walton and Johnson medallion.











Here is how some workmen on the route watched the parade. Talk about first class seats!

Mardi Gras Half Marathon

Marguerite, Heather, Rebecca, Bonnie and I participated in the Mardi Gras Half Marathon in New Orleans today. It was all of our first times to do this.










The Mardi Gras Half-Marathon Virgins made it!!!!!

Here we are at mile 5. Do we look winded yet? The runners on the left were passing on the other side rounding up on mile 10, as we were on 5.











There were lots of people along the route cheering us on, even the garbage men.











Look how much energy we had on the first couple miles. We even were running around and taking pics along the way.
