Burritos and Bandidos

For Halloween, Bonnie, Will, Rebecca, Nick, Chad, Heather and Shaun came over to have a murder mystery dinner. The game was titled Burritos and Bandidos, a mexican themed murder mystery. Here are the pics.

My character was a Hot air balloonist, Shaun was an old prospector, with a southern accent that he did quite nicely.

Bonnie was an Aztec Indian (medicine woman/spritual healer) and Will was a wealthy landowner.

Lucy dressed as snow white.
Heather was the victims sister, Senorita Bonita and Chad was an American writer.

Rebecca was a photographer and Nick was a mexican policeman.

It was much fun! Can't wait 'til the next murder!!!

El Dorado Royale

After I got to the airport, a taxi picked me up and brought me to the resort. It was awesome. When I walked in they served us champagne and then came and picked me up in the golf cart to bring me to my room.

The rooms were great. Here's a pic of the bed and jacuzzi tub. The bathroom had a standing shower and toilet, with double sinks. They also had remote control air conditioner, 24 hour room service and because it was all inclusive, the mini bar could be refilled with no extra charge.


They made different animals with towels ont the beds.

Each porch had chairs and a hammock.

And it creates a shallow pool with chairs to lounge in.
By the pool, they had chairs but also the little cabanas.

Every pool had a bar. This was the main pool bar by our rooms.

Bachelorette, Bday Pics

On Thursday, Shannon planned a lingerie thign for Becky and Dad planned a little Bday thing for my mom. They were both sursprised, thinking it was each for the other. Here are a few pics of both. First we did the lingerie with Becky.

Then off to dinner after the party.
Oh wait, more party afterwards. One of the bars stays open til 2, and had karaoke until 11. So we went. Mom and I had seats in the front. She got serenaded by this guy, he sang pretty woman.

She was in heaven.
Enrique was the kayak tour guide that morning, and he was at the bar. He's really like an activities guy, making sure the guests have fun.
After karaoke there was a band playing that we all danced to.

XCaret

On Friday, we went to XCaret a park that had water activities and animals. We did the dolphin swimming and cave snorkeling. At the dolphin swimming, we got to pet the dolphins as they swam around us. Then they did lots of tricks.

Mom made the dolphins sing.

Ross made the dolphins spin in circles.
Shannon got splashed and splashed them back.
Then we all got kissed and kissed teh dolphins.

We also got pushed by the dolphins, one on each foot.


Here is a picture of the cave entrance. We snorkeled in the caves, which ran through the whole park.

After water activities, we walked around the park to see the animals they had. Here is a manatee.

They had a pinapple drink that was served in this cup too bad we didn't try any!
