Last Few Pics

We went and ate at Mikado's, a hibachi place one night.

Jenny and I went to La Isla, which is a HUGE shopping center. It has tons of shops and restuarants. All around town they have these people sprayed different colors and dressed in different outfits. Here is Jack Sparrow.




















In La Isla we went to La Casa de Las Margaritas (The House of the Margaritas) to eat dinner. It was really neat here is a picture.




















A little band came and played some mexican music.































They had some pretty flowers at our table.

After we left La Isla we wanted to go see what Chocolate City was.













This place was a huge restaurant with 8 big projector T.V.'s on the wall. The Mexican vs. Iran soccer match was on, so everyone cheered when they scored. They had lots of differnt carts they would roll to your table, a chocolate fountain cart, a liquor cart, and they even had little ice buckets that they would bring you one beer in. They also had games you could play at your table. We chose Jenga.

Still More Cancun

Today was rainy. Jenny and I took a stroll on the beach, got some shells and got soaked. We did
manage to do a few other things. I got some pictures of the hotel. here is one of the hot tub, which overlooks the pool and you can see the back of the hotel.

We even read books and I did a little napping in the room.

Tonight they set up a dinner for parents, where they got 10 percent off at a really nice restaurant so they don't have to go where the kids go. We went there for a coupld of drinks. Here are a couple of pics there.







































Then we went to Pat O'Brien's.
















This place was really neat. The waiters carried drinks on their heads.

We didn't see anyone drop one!

Somehow we got these crazy boob shots. The lady blew the whistle and put the shot in our boobs. here's Jenny's face before we realized what was happening.














They passed out these balloons and someone made this one this one into a certain shape that we made some funny pictures with.

Cancun Another Day

More beach pictures. It is so beautiful even when it's overcast!!

Tonight was our last night to work. We had to work the dinner at Carlos 'n Charlie's. Jenny and I stood at the front door directing the students to the back entrance. We took some fun pictures of things in the plaza where the restaurant was, while waiting.

Cancun, Mexico

I got to go on a free trip to Cancun with Jenny and April. April's roomate, Mark, got us a job working with his company Gradweek. We have to work 3 nights this week at the student events. Here we are at our first event the Foam Party at a club called Basic. Jenny was working so hard writing numbers down so students could sign the sheet.

The party started around 7 and the foam started aroudn 9:30. Here is a picture of the foam when it first started. I wish I had taken the after. The night went well, the kids had fun, and only one got too drunk and had to be taken home.

The water was beautiful, but there were all these big cement rocks along the shore that hurt your feet, or tripped you. Jenny tripped, but of course I didn't get it on camera. I laughed (then carma came around and I also tripped)!















The Naked Team came around advertising Senor Frogs. It was quite a sight.

Picture perfect...that was until those dark clouds rolled overhead. That was't until late in the day.

The second night we working at Senor Frogs. This place was quite interesting. Between the upside down shots (where they give you the shot then spin you), the indoor pool, the water slide, and the stage competitions, the students were not bored for a second.

There were a lot of parents that came on the trip too, they came to have their fair share of the fun. They had a funky white boy competion, where they called the older men onstage to dance. One of the dads from the Baton Rouge group won!

We didn't get as much sun today. It was a little sunny in the morning and then it clouded up, so we took a trip to the flea market. When we got back there was a little sun so we layed out for awhile. I took a small snooze (familiar site?).
