Panama City Beach Triathlon

Jason and I went to Panama City Beach, FL this weekend to complete our second triathlon. Courtney was nice enough to come along and take some pictures of us during the race. It was a 1/3 mile swim, 10 mile bike then a 3 1/4 mile run. The swim was in the Gulf, and it was crystal clear. So clear that after the first jellyfish sting I was able to watch out for them and try to dodge them.

Yeah!!!! I beat my time by a minute and 2 seconds!!!! Those 2 seconds must have been from the fact that I didn't wear sunglasses this time!

Jason won an award, for fifth place in his age group. Yeah!!

Chicago Trip

I went to Chicago/Rockford to visit Mandy and Jon. After Mandy picked me up from he airport, we went into the Hancock building to sit and have drink. here is the view fom the table where we sat.
