Sister Hazel Concert

Friday night Bonnie, Heather, Rebecca and I went to the Texas Club here in Baton Rouge to see Sister Hazel. Here are the pics! We got there early to make sure we had seats and there really was only about 10 other people there when we got there, so we shot a game of pool to pass the time.

Girls Night Out

We had a nice dinner at Champps, but while eating the restaurant was talking about the game they were going to play for someone to try and win a mountain bike. It was a game similar to Let's Make a Deal. I was the first contestant and I traded Shannon's Business card for $10. Then they let me choose to keep the $10 or pick something from under one of the boxes. The box I picked had magic beans and a key. We had to wait around for 3 keys to be picked to see if my key was the winner.


















Dan the guy in charge of the game, bought the group of hot teachers a round of shots!










Some didn't want their shot, so these ladies volunteered to take two!















Eddie came up to play and when he opted for the prize in the pocket it was missing. While he waited for them to find the key that was supposed to be there, he bought us a round of shots.



















Also while waiting, Eddie's friend cheated for him. She checked under all the packages and tried my key.















They finally found the key that was dropped and also took mine from me.
They brought my key back to me.

We got caught in an afternoon rainstorm and tried to put the top back on, but we had a little trouble. It was because we were on an incline trying to pull the top back up.

Denver Zoo Trip

We went to the Denver Zoo Thursday. It was really great!








































































They allowed you to bring in your own food, so we had a picnic.































There were ducks walking around the zoo. I think these were hanging out by the picnic area looking for crumbs.
